About DeVore Acupucture & Pam DeVore

Proudly Serving the Fort Collins, Colorado Community

I had the privilege to be trained in the lineage of Classical Five Element acupuncture, with the direct teachings of J.R. Worsley, before his passing, and with his daughter, Hilary Skellon, one of the foremost experts in Classical Five Element Acupuncture, in Louisville, Colorado.  As an acupuncturist licensed in the state of Colorado, I am a Diplomate in Acupuncture, awarded by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). I completed my Plant Spirit Medicine training with nationally recognized practitioners Suzanne and Charles Burnell in Boulder, Colorado. I have a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Before my work as an acupuncturist I practiced for sixteen years as a licensed massage therapist and certified St. John’s Neuromuscular Therapy with advanced training in Cranial Sacral Therapy, Shiatsu, Manual Lymph Drainage, Zero Balancing, and Qi Gong, having also graduated from Boulder College of Massage Therapy. I have taught both yoga and dance to children and adults with disabilities.

I have been in private practice in Fort Collins, Colorado since 1993; acupuncture since 2004. I find Five Element Acupuncture and Plant Spirit Medicine endlessly fascinating. I respect their poetry, exactitude, and the unique way they use an understanding of the natural world to guide their principles. Much of my training is grounded in establishing, building, and maintaining rapport with my clients. This along with presence, a deep listening, honest reflection, and authenticity are at the core of my acupuncture, coaching, and plant spirit medicine style.
